Wheel of Fortune Episode for 4/25/2014

On tonight's episode of America's Game Show, three new contestants took their chances on the wheel to see if they could be the Big Winner. The first Toss Up-an On The Map-puzzle was quickly solved. Jordan Muller from Richmond, Virginia, is a software sales representative, and on the weekend she moonlights as a bridal stylist. Michael Groover from San Juan Capistrano, is a performing arts student. Jen Eckland is a workaholic who has four jobs which range from first grade teacher to retail worker, to casino gal, to independent consultant.

The next Toss Up was worth a nice $2000 dollars, helps to determine who gets to go first in the initial spin round puzzle. The What Are You Doing puzzle went quickly to, Jordan, once letters started randomly showing up on the board. After the puzzle was done, Jim-the announcer- introduced a prize package based on the new Spider Man 2 that comes out in theaters Friday, May 2nd. The prize package is worth a hefty $7500 dollars.

Jordan started the first spin puzzle with a smile on her face. The In The Kitchen category gave a three word answer for the contestants to try and solve. Jordan's first spin out landed her on the million dollar/bankrupt piece, and she kept the momentum going with the letter R. Providing a bit of humor during her playing time, Jordan was able to spin her way through a ½ Car piece and earn some nice cash as well, before finally solving the puzzle with, Stainless Steel Colander.

Michael took his first turn with the wheel on the next, Same Letter puzzle. Michael was doing well, guessing the letters T and L, but when he got to the letter R, he was out of luck. Jen was up next for her first spin. Jen got stumped by a letter, and so did Jordan after her. Returning to Michael, he got himself the Wild Card by guessing the letter B, of which there were four. After guessing all the consonants in the puzzle, Michael was able to solve the puzzle with Blue Baby Booties.

Jen took her first solid punch at the next puzzle. Along with being a, Food and Drink puzzle it was also a Prize Puzzle, which is usually a fabulous trip to some exotic place. Michael was doing great, until the letter N showed up and knocked the game over the Jen. She was finally able to put some money on her board, before the Lose A Turn came up to bite her. When it came around to Jordan, she spun the wheel and landed on the Express piece. Giving her a $1000 dollars for every correct consonant she guessed, Jordan took the risk of a Bankrupt if she missed any. Lo and behold she was able to see the puzzle through and solved it with A Bowl Of Delicious Goulash. She added $7000 to her total for that one puzzle. She was also able to pick up a fabulous trip to Budapest, Hungary! The trip, worth $7699 was sponsored by Hotwire.com.

The next, and last Toss Up puzzle came after the commercial break. Worth $3000 dollars, all the contestants were hoping to snag this Thing puzzle. Jen was finally able to put up some solid cash on her board by solving the puzzle with, Spiral Staircase.

Per the usual course of things, the Final Spin bell gave a ding after the Toss Up, so Pat gave the wheel it's last spin for the night. This made the consonants worth $1500 dollars a piece and gave the contestants a chance to rack up the cash, during this Person puzzle.

Both Jen and Jordan gave attempts at solving the puzzle, but it was Michael who was finally able to solve it, after picking the letter N, with Cross-Country Runner.

Carrying her Million Dollar wedge and a nice $23, 649 dollars with her, Jordan entered the Bonus round in high spirits. After spinning the game wheel for her prize, Jordan took her place to work on the Person puzzle. With the help of the usual culprits; R, S, T, L, N and E, Jordan added her own letters. After picking C, D, M and O, Jordan wasn't so thrilled with only getting help from seven letters in her 18 letter puzzle. With no beginning letters for any of the three words, Jordan simply didn't have enough information to solve the Beauty Pageant Judge puzzle. But she seemed rather happy to have won her great trip and her already nice total.
