Wheel of Fortune Episode for 4/29/2014

On America's Game Show tonight, we met three contestants who were feeling lucky enough to pit their version of “Lady Luck,” against the mighty Wheel to see who'd come out the victor. As is traditional, the first Toss Up puzzle is given first. It's worth $1000 dollars and is the first chance the contestants have to sink their teeth into some cash. Tossing out random letters until the puzzle it solved, tonight the Phrase category puzzle went to, Andre Coldwell from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, who quickly solve it with; History In The Making. Summer Briselle from Boise, Idaho and Jennifer Jackson from Norman, Oklahoma, were both hoping to add to their totals much the same way that Andre did.

The next Toss Up, worth $2000, was an Around The House category, and helped to determine who got to go first in the initial Spin puzzle. Jennifer scored quickly with the Sectional Sofa answer. At this point in the game Jim-The Announcer-always has something wonderful to add to the wheel to make it that much sweeter. The trip to Ceaser's Palace in Las Vegas Nevada was worth a hefty, $7500 dollars.

Jennifer got the first go round on the 80's category spin puzzle. Guessing an S and buying an E, Jennifer was excited about the possibility of getting the ½ Car piece she'd landed on, but guessed the letter T and had to pass the game on to Andre. Andre also got two spins. He guess the letter R and bought the vowel A, before the retched Lose A Turn reached up to bite him. Much like the two previous players, Summer guessed the letter N and bought the vowel I. Her third guess of D passed the game right back to Jennifer as there were no D's to be had. Jennifer finally had a bout of luck by landing on the $2500 dollar space and guessing the letter G. She then went on to solve the puzzle with; Solving A Rubik's Cube.

The next puzzle was a Food & Drink category and had enough letters for everyone to get in on the action! Andre was doing swimmingly picking up a Wild Card and the Mystery prize piece to reveal a very nice $10,000 dollars on the reverse side. However, when he went to solve the puzzle he misspoke and was not able to claim the prize for the solve. Summer was ready and waiting, and after a few spins to earn some money; she lost it all on the dreaded Bankrupt piece. After two spins to earn some cash, Jennifer was able to solve the puzzle with: Chocolate Sundae With A Cherry On Top. Andre had said, Chocolate Shake With A Cherry On Top.

The next spin puzzle was all about Landmarks. Summer landed on the free play and was able to go again after guessing a letter that wasn't on the board. Her second spin landed her on the Express train $1000 dollar game piece and she hopped on for the ride, gaining a thousand dollars for every correct consonant that she got right. Working her way slowly through one letter after another Summer was able to eventually solve the puzzle with, Big Ben And The Eiffel Tower; and she racked up a very nice $13,250 dollars while she was at it. Because Summer was working on a Prize Puzzle, she won trips to both London and Paris to see “Big Ben and The Eiffel Tower.” Her dual trip was worth an amazing $11,197 dollars.

After the break the last Toss Up of the game, worth a steady $3000 was put up for the contestants to work out. The Fun & Games puzzle was quickly solved by Andre with, Donkey Kong. The last puzzle popped up on the board and Pat gave the wheel it's notorious Final Spin. Consonants became $1700 dollar wads of cash and each contestant was allowed 3 seconds to solve the puzzle after each of their letter guesses. With the letter B, Jennifer was able to solve the last puzzle, but it wasn't enough to catch Summer who was overjoyed to be going to the Bonus Round.

After spinning the “mini-wheel,” Summer took her place next to Pat for her Phrase puzzle. After working with the usual culprits: R, S, T, L, N, and E; Summer added: F, G, P and O for a little extra boost. Even with the great help from the combined letters, without the beginning letter of the first word, Summer wasn't able to add the extra $30,000 to her total. However, she seemed happy at the end to walk away with a nice $24, 447 dollars.

Wheel of Fortune Episode for 4/25/2014

On tonight's episode of America's Game Show, three new contestants took their chances on the wheel to see if they could be the Big Winner. The first Toss Up-an On The Map-puzzle was quickly solved. Jordan Muller from Richmond, Virginia, is a software sales representative, and on the weekend she moonlights as a bridal stylist. Michael Groover from San Juan Capistrano, is a performing arts student. Jen Eckland is a workaholic who has four jobs which range from first grade teacher to retail worker, to casino gal, to independent consultant.

The next Toss Up was worth a nice $2000 dollars, helps to determine who gets to go first in the initial spin round puzzle. The What Are You Doing puzzle went quickly to, Jordan, once letters started randomly showing up on the board. After the puzzle was done, Jim-the announcer- introduced a prize package based on the new Spider Man 2 that comes out in theaters Friday, May 2nd. The prize package is worth a hefty $7500 dollars.

Jordan started the first spin puzzle with a smile on her face. The In The Kitchen category gave a three word answer for the contestants to try and solve. Jordan's first spin out landed her on the million dollar/bankrupt piece, and she kept the momentum going with the letter R. Providing a bit of humor during her playing time, Jordan was able to spin her way through a ½ Car piece and earn some nice cash as well, before finally solving the puzzle with, Stainless Steel Colander.

Michael took his first turn with the wheel on the next, Same Letter puzzle. Michael was doing well, guessing the letters T and L, but when he got to the letter R, he was out of luck. Jen was up next for her first spin. Jen got stumped by a letter, and so did Jordan after her. Returning to Michael, he got himself the Wild Card by guessing the letter B, of which there were four. After guessing all the consonants in the puzzle, Michael was able to solve the puzzle with Blue Baby Booties.

Jen took her first solid punch at the next puzzle. Along with being a, Food and Drink puzzle it was also a Prize Puzzle, which is usually a fabulous trip to some exotic place. Michael was doing great, until the letter N showed up and knocked the game over the Jen. She was finally able to put some money on her board, before the Lose A Turn came up to bite her. When it came around to Jordan, she spun the wheel and landed on the Express piece. Giving her a $1000 dollars for every correct consonant she guessed, Jordan took the risk of a Bankrupt if she missed any. Lo and behold she was able to see the puzzle through and solved it with A Bowl Of Delicious Goulash. She added $7000 to her total for that one puzzle. She was also able to pick up a fabulous trip to Budapest, Hungary! The trip, worth $7699 was sponsored by Hotwire.com.

The next, and last Toss Up puzzle came after the commercial break. Worth $3000 dollars, all the contestants were hoping to snag this Thing puzzle. Jen was finally able to put up some solid cash on her board by solving the puzzle with, Spiral Staircase.

Per the usual course of things, the Final Spin bell gave a ding after the Toss Up, so Pat gave the wheel it's last spin for the night. This made the consonants worth $1500 dollars a piece and gave the contestants a chance to rack up the cash, during this Person puzzle.

Both Jen and Jordan gave attempts at solving the puzzle, but it was Michael who was finally able to solve it, after picking the letter N, with Cross-Country Runner.

Carrying her Million Dollar wedge and a nice $23, 649 dollars with her, Jordan entered the Bonus round in high spirits. After spinning the game wheel for her prize, Jordan took her place to work on the Person puzzle. With the help of the usual culprits; R, S, T, L, N and E, Jordan added her own letters. After picking C, D, M and O, Jordan wasn't so thrilled with only getting help from seven letters in her 18 letter puzzle. With no beginning letters for any of the three words, Jordan simply didn't have enough information to solve the Beauty Pageant Judge puzzle. But she seemed rather happy to have won her great trip and her already nice total.

Wheel of Fortune Episode for 4/24/2014

Tonight on America's Game-show, two women and one man pit their good luck charms against the wheel to see if they could come out the winner. The first Toss Up, worth $1000 dollars, went to Jay O'Neil from Glendale, Arkansas. One of his opponents was Mandy Gray, from Omaha Nebraska. The other contestant on tonight's show was, Melissa Logston, from St. Louis, Missouri.

The second Toss Up puzzle, a Thing category worth $2000, sets the first person to go for the original spin round. Jay was the quickest on the buzzer with the correct answer of, Attitude Adjustment. After the Toss Up came Jim-the announcer- to place a wonderful trip to New York City on the wheel for a hopeful contestant to win. The prize package, worth $6,410 dollars, was sponsored by Broadway.com.

Jay's first trip with the wheel was on a T.V. Title category. Jay was on a roll, buying up vowels and guessing consonants in succession, until he guessed the letter D, of which there were none. The game then passed to Mandy. Mandy got one heck of a spin, landing on the $2500 dollar game piece. She guessed the letter N, of which there were 3, and then solved the puzzle with CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.

Mandy started the next puzzle in the Quotation category. Landing on the Bankrupt, Mandy passed the game on to Melissa. Melissa was doing well, even winning a ½ Car piece, before the black hole of the Bankrupt caught up with her. Jay was doing awesome, until the nasty Lose A Turn piece popped up to ruin it. Mandy's first turn landed her on the Bed, Bath and Beyond shopping spree for $1000. Then she landed on the Lose A Turn piece to give the game back to Melissa. Before the Big Bad Bankrupt bit her in the tush, she was doing fantastic. Alas, the game got sent to Jay.

The next puzzle was the prize puzzle in the What Are You Doing category, and Melissa started the wheel spinning. The Bankrupt got her early though and Jay took over. Jay was on a huge climb, buying up all the vowels, and guessing all the consonants except one. With over $10,000 going for him, Jay spent the last spin and landed on the Bankrupt all over again. Mandy was able to capitalize on Jay's loss and win herself a trip to the Dominican Republic, that was worth $7,199 dollars.

The third and final Toss Up puzzle, in the Showbiz category, worth $3000, was over quickly when Melissa solved it with, Ten-Piece Brass Band. After that, the Final Spin buzzer went off and Pat gave the wheel it's last spin. Consonants were instantly worth, $1300 for the Occupation category puzzle. Mandy scored on this last puzzle with the solve of, Television Critic.

Going into the Bonus Round, Mandy took her $17,299 dollars. The People category puzzle was given the usual R, S, T, L, N and E. Mandy came along and added, C, M, P and A. Her letters gave her all but one letter on the bottom word, but without the beginning letter on the top word, Mandy just wasn't able to come up with, Qualified Applicants in the ten seconds she was given. Even missing out on the $30,000 didn't seem to dampen the fact that she was taking home $17,299 dollars.

On tonight's episode of America's Game-show, three new contestants from colleges around the U.S., take their chances with the wheel and lady luck to hopefully win some major cash and prizes. The first Toss Up puzzle was worth $1000 dollars and was a Character category. Jake Orens-a junior as UCSB, solved the puzzle with Huckleberry Finn. Symone Wiggins is a junior at Temple University and is a Speech: Language and Hearing major. Last but not least we had, Jenna Minelli who is a Senior at Florida State.

The second Toss Up, which decides who gets to go first during the original spin round, was worth $2000 and was a Things category. Symone grabbed the puzzle with Overdue Library Books. After the puzzle, Jim-the announcer-was able to add an trip to Alaska onto he wheel, thanks to American Cruise lines that was worth, $9000 dollars.

The first spin puzzle was a Same Name category, and Symone took her first chance with the wheel. Symone was on a roll, racking up over $8000, only to land on the Lose A Turn piece and pass the game on to Jenna. Guessing a C, Jenna thought she had enough to solve the puzzle, and wound up giving the game to Jake. Jake landed on a Bankrupt, his first spin out, and Symone was happy to have the wheel back. Going with a Y, Symone, unfortunately wasn't able to continue, and Jenna was finally able to solve the puzzle with Commencement And Car Speakers.

Jake was the first to spin on the new Phrase puzzle. Jake was doing fantastic, until he asked for an A. This left the game in Symone's hands, for the time being. Symone was on a roll again, getting the board down to two letters, before guessing the letter M, and passing the game on to Jenna. She guessed a C, and passed the game back to Jake. After guessing the letter D, Jake was able to solve the puzzle with, Keep Your Nose To The Grindstone.

Jake started the next spin puzzle, a Fun & Games category by landing on the Wild Card game piece. Jake was on a role, guessing consonants and buying up vowels, left and right, before landing on the horrible Lose A Turn game piece. Symone was doing well, also, before she landed on the Million Dollar/Bankrupt game piece. She got the shorter end of that stick. Jenna was also nabbed by the Lose A Turn game piece. On Jake's next turn, he got stuck a second time on the Lose A Turn piece. Symone only got an H on the board before guessing an O that wasn't there. Then, Jenna landed on the Bankrupt symbol, again. Jake was finally able to solve this puzzle with, Windsurfing In The Caribbean, which won him an amazing trip to The Bahamas. This trip was worth $7, 399 dollars, which brought Jake's total to $15,799 dollars.

The last Toss Up puzzle for the night, worth $3000, was a Place puzzle. Symone took a stab at the two word answer, but it was Jenna who was able to solve it with, Main Street.

The final spin came along for the What Are You Doing puzzle, making the consonants worth a nice, $1300 a piece. After guessing the letter F, Jake was able to solve the puzzle with, Saving Up For A Rainy Day. Going into the Bonus Round, Jake took an impressive, $19,699.

The Phrase category started with the usual R, S, T, L, N, and E letters. Then Jake added, D, C, M and A, and because he had the Wild Card, he was able to add another consonant to the mix with the letter G. Filling in a few more letters, Jake was able to solve the puzzle with, Diverse Backgrounds to add an extra $30,000 to his total making his grand total $49,699 dollars.

On tonight's show of America's Game-Wheel of Fortune- we continue with Family Week. Per the usual course, we started with the first Toss Up puzzle of the night, worth a $1000 dollars. The Proper Name category puzzle tossed out random letters until one team was able to solve the puzzle. Becky and Amanda-two best friends from Illinois-were the first to score some cash with Susan B. Anthony. Meoshie and Starlie were up next, two best friends from Alabama and Hawaii respectively. Kathy and Heidi are best friends who like to sip wine and watch their husbands go at it over the ever popular game of ping pong.

The friendly duo was able to rack up some great cash, the Wild Card piece and the great trip to Washington D.C., as well as, solving the puzzle with Department Store Mannequins.

Kathy and Heidi were up next for the second spin puzzle, a Before and After category. The ladies were doing great, until the big black Bankrupt came to slap it all away-allowing Becky and Amanda to take their turn at the wheel. Just one spin into their game and the Bankrupt struck again, knocking the game back over to Meoshe and Starlie. Third times a charm, apparently wasn't true for this crowd, as the Bankrupt got Meoshe and Starlie as well-which cost them their Wild Card. Back to Kathy and Heidi, the women were on a roll until that dastardly Bankrupt came back to nip them again, costing them their $3800. Becky and Amanda landed on the Mystery game piece and comically bantered back and forth over whether they'd take the risk. Deciding against it at the last, they solved the puzzle with , You Are The Sunshine Of My Life Savings. Pat, being a great mediator, allowed the girls to lift the Mystery game piece and lo-and-behold, the Bankrupt would have taken their good start!

After the break, the prize puzzle was a Fun and Games category, which meant Becky and Amanda, were first to spin. Landing on the Express $1000 dollar game piece, the girls decided to play, giving them a chance at a $1000 for every consonant until they could solve the puzzle, however, they missed on the letter M; which gave Meoshe and Starlie a chance to solve with Exploring The Coastline In A Kayak. Solving the puzzle netted them a great trip to St. Croix, that was worth $11,998 dollars.

The last Toss Up puzzle of the night was a Movie Titles category, Kathy and Heidi scored a flash of a second ahead of Amanda and Becky with, Legally Blonde. Living Things, was the category for the Final puzzle. Pat gave the wheel a final spin and consonants became $1400 dollar gold mines. Moving on to the Bonus Round, the ladies picked the Stars prize and worked to solve the Thing puzzle. With the normal R, S, T, L, N, and E letters along with, C, M, D, and O. Not getting a lot of initial help, the women weren't able to solve the Hobbyhorse puzzle, and missed out on adding $45,000 to their already impressive total of: $40,798

Starting off with the first Toss Up puzzle-a puzzle that's open to all the contestants, and throws out random letters, until one solves the puzzle-was worth $1000 dollars. The On The Map category puzzle was quickly won over with Louisiana, by Scott and Jim-brothers from Southern California-were the first to score on tonight's show. The next contestants on the “Family Night” show, were Ariel and Linda- a Grandmother, granddaughter team from Nevada. Our last couple were a mother and son team from Idaho-Christopher and Kathryn.

After the normal introductions, the second Toss Up puzzle was put on the board, and once again Scott and Jim were able to nab the $2000 dollars, as well as, the chance to spin first when the spin round got started. The Living Thing category was solved with Sycamore Tree. As is customary with Wheel of Fortune, after the second Toss Up, Jim-the announcer-adds a nice prize package the the wheel. Usually a fabulous trip, tonight's prize was a trip to the Beaches Sandals resort in the Turks and Caicos Islands that totaled $16,640 dollars.

Scott and Jim took their first spin on the Title puzzle. Taking the wheel for everything it was worth, the brothers started out gaining a little cash and grabbing the Wild Card game piece. This piece allows you to stay on the monetary space you landed on, and continue to choose another letter, without having to spin first. The brothers used this when they landed on a $2500 dollar space. They also grabbed the huge Beaches resort vacation during their first puzzle. Pulling a $10,650 dollar cash haul, they were the team to beat for the other contestants, with a total of over $30,000 in cash and prizes.

Team 2 was hoping to have just as good luck during the second spin puzzle, which was a T.V. Quote category. The women were doing great, until a missing letter passed the game on to Christopher and Kathryn. The duo landed on the Mystery game piece, that could have given them a nice $10,000 dollar bonus or a bankrupt. With $2000 at risk, the mother-son team took the chance and were rewarded with the nice bump to their total. Their luck didn't stick around long, however, when they landed on the dreaded Bankrupt piece and lost both their current total and the Mystery game slot.

Going back to the brothers, lady lucky was certainly with them for this puzzle as well. Landing on the $3500 dollar piece they guessed the letter L, of which there were four. Their total jumped by an impressive, $14,000. The brothers went on to solve the puzzle with , We Will Sell No Wine Before It's Time-to bring their total up to $44,040.

After the break the contestants came back for a prize puzzle in the Phrase category, which Christopher and Kathryn were able to start. The pair landed on the Express $1000 dollar game piece and decided to play along, hoping to rack up a nice amount of money. Pulling a win from their lucky hat, the mother-son duo was able to guess all the letters and solve the puzzle with, Let The Celebration Begin. For their win, they also scored a great trip to Nassau in the Bahamas worth a whopping $13,698 dollars.

The last Toss Up for the night was a Character category and Ariel and Linda were finally able to score some cash and playing time with Peter Cottontail. What Are You Doing, was the category for the next puzzle, and the last regular puzzle of the night, as Pat Sajak gave the wheel a final spin. Consonants instantly turned into $1500 dollar cash cows, with each set of contestants having just ten seconds to solve the puzzle after guessing a letter. After scoring $3000 on this last puzzle, brothers Scott and Jim were able to solve the last puzzle with Downloading Music.
Going into the bonus round, the brothers had a total of $47, 040. The Bonus Round puzzle was a phrase category, with the usual R, S, T, L, N, and E given as letters. The brothers chose C, D, H and O as their letters and got some additional help. Missing only one letter in their puzzle, the brothers were easily able to solve it with Scoot Over. Feeling elated, they were even more so when they added another $40, 000 dollars to their total, making their Wheel of Fortune payout $87,040 dollars.

Wheel of Fortune Episode for 4/18/2014

Tonight's episode is the final show for the Resorts Week on Wheel of Fortune. As usual, we have three new contestants who are eager to pit their will and good luck against the wheel and hopefully come out a winner. The first Toss Up puzzle of the night, worth a nice $1000 dollars, and gives the contestants an equal shot at solving the puzzle. During a Toss Up puzzle, random letters are placed in the puzzle until a contestant is able to solve that particular puzzle. Three contestants, three guesses, none of them were right! The 'What Are You Doing' puzzle stumped them til the last, and won out.

During the “Get to know the contestants,” Fawn Lock was first up. Hailing from Henderson, Nevada; she is a market manager for a top hotel and tour resort. Michael Morris is from Pembroke Pines, Florida, and is a middle school guidance counselor. Brittany McGuire, our third and final contestant, is a substitute teacher from Humble (pronounced Umble) Texas. She hopes to be a full time art teacher next year.

The next Toss Up puzzle was a Food and Drink category, and the first person to score the cash was, Brittany. The Quiche Lorraine answer wasn't a match for out substitute teacher! This allowed Brittany to secure the first spin on the spin round which came up after an announcement from Jim. The wheel was getting a nice prize package from Sandals Resorts, which was worth, $6700 dollars.

Brittany landed right away on a ½ Car piece and was able to secure it, at least temporarily, with the letter T, for this The 80's, puzzle. Brittany was on a roll with this puzzle until the Lose A Turn took all her momentum. Fawn was up next, and passed the game right on to Michael with the guess of an S, of which there weren't any. This also made her miss out on that Sandals vacation that had been added to the board. Michael was doing fantastically, even landing on the coveted Million Dollar prize. However, sometimes, choosing to spin instead of solving the puzzle can prove disastrous. Which it did in Michael’s case, landing him on a Bankrupt. Brittany was able to collect a little cash and a Wild Card; before solving the puzzle with, Hungry Like The Wolf By Duran Duran.

The next spin puzzle was a Before and After. Fawn was the first one to spin for this puzzle. Guessing the letter T on an $800 dollar piece it looked as if Fawn was going to make a go of it, until the Bankrupt caught her by surprise! Micheal took the next spin, only to lose it with the sneaky, Lose A Turn game piece. Brittany was doing well, buying vowels left and right, until the nasty Bankrupt sneaked up again, which cost her the ½ Car piece and the Wild Card. Fawn's next turn ended quickly with a Lose A Turn spin, and Micheal was able to win a little cash, a $1000 gift card to Maui Jim, and solve the puzzle. The Before and After puzzle read: Social Butterfly Collection.

The next puzzle, a Phrase, was also a prize puzzle. The prize, a fabulous trip to the Bahamas, was sponsored by Sandals Resorts. Michael got the ball rolling with the letter T. On his next spin he landed on the the $1,000 Express, guessing the letter D; he decided to try for the Express “Train” and see how much money he could win. Michael was doing well, until he guessed the letter S, and it cost him a Bankrupt in the end. Brittany was able to take advantage of Michael's misfortune, and spin her way to solving the puzzle, gaining some cash and getting the ½ Car piece. The puzzle answer read: Pinch Me I Think I'm Dreaming. Brittany was also able to secure that great trip from the prize puzzle along with $2750 to add to her total.

The third and final Toss Up was all about Living Things, and Fawn, was eager to solve this puzzle with, Baby's Breath. The Final Spin bell dinged when the last puzzle appeared. A Thing category, consonants were worth $1900 dollars. Fawn and Michael were both able to score some cash on the deal, until Brittany solved the puzzle with Lifetime Guarantees. Her $5700 added to her previous total made her the Wheel of Fortune winner for today's show. Going into the bonus round, Brittanie had a nice $20,599 dollars to her name. The Phrase puzzle started with the usual R, S, T, L, N, and E letters, adding M, B, P, and I to the stack from Brittany. However, the puzzle, with neither words starting letter was a difficult one and proved to be more than Brittany could handle. Downright Hilarious, was anything but funny to Brittany, who forfeited a EOS Convertible. However, she did seem extremely happy about her nice stash of cash!

Wheel of Fortune Episode for 4/17/2014

On tonight's episode of Wheel of Fortune we're four days into resorts week. Each night a fabulous Sandals resort trip is put on the board for one of the contestants to snag, should the opportunity present itself. Tonight our first Toss Up puzzle, a puzzle in which random letters are placed on the board until a contestant solves the puzzle, was worth a nice $1000 dollars. The On The Map puzzle was one word long, and Jarvis was the winner with the correct answer of Barbados.

Jarvis Hagins from Edmond, Oklahoma is an accountant back home. Molly Duncan from-Kansas City, Kansas, is an R.N., on a med-tele unit back home. Cristina Livingston, from Chilicante, Missouri is a business systems consultant for a major financial institution, and enjoys adventure sports, reading and cooking in her free time.

The next Toss Up, worth $2000, gives the winner the first spin on the first round of puzzle play. The Food and Drink puzzle was no match for Cristina who snagged it easily with, French Press Coffee. Jim-the announcer-was also able to put the $6700 dollar prize package to a Sandals resort in either Jamaica or Turks and Caicos on the wheel for one lucky contestant.

Cristina started off well-on the first spin puzzle (a Phrase), putting an S and an A on the board; before she ran into that pesky Lose A Turn game piece. Jarvis was ready and waiting though. Landing on the ½ Car symbol Jarvis was well on his way to winning a brand new Chevy Spark. From there it just got better, he spun his way to solving the puzzle with Let's Get The Ball Rolling.

On the next puzzle Jarvis landed on the newly placed, Mystery game piece-this piece allows the winner to guess a letter at $1000/letter. You can then choose to keep it the way it is, or take a chance that there might be $10,000 dollar under that symbol. If there isn't though, you lose it all on a Bankrupt. Jarvis guessed the letter N, of which there were none, so the Mystery piece stayed on the board. On Molly's first go at the wheel, she was able to snag a $1000 eBags gift certificate. Continuing her haul, Molly also scored the Beaches resort game piece, as well as a ½ Car piece and the Wild card piece. The nasty Lose A Turn piece popped up to ruin Molly's streak, but Cristina was able to solve the puzzle with Follow The Yellow Brick Road Hog, for this Before and After puzzle.

For the next puzzle-which ended up being a Prize puzzle-Place was the category. Molly started off slow with the guess of an N, of which there were none. Cristina was on a nice roll, before the Bankrupt piece got her. Jarvis took that momentum, grabbed the million dollar game piece, as he was passing by, and solved the puzzle with, West Of Haiti, South Of Cuba. He also secured a great trip to Jamaica.

After the break it was time for the third and final Toss Up puzzle of the night. Worth $3,000 the Thing category was snatched up by, Cristina with the answer: Cold Hard Cash. The Final Spin came up as the last puzzle was announced. The People category puzzle had consonants worth a very nice, $1300 dollars. Molly was able to get on the board with $2600, Cristina as well gathered $2600. Jarvis was the big winner by getting some cash, and solving the puzzle: Like-Minded Individuals.

Going into the Bonus Round, Jarvis was hoping to secure that million dollar prize piece all while solving the puzzle and winning whatever card prize he was able to grab. The thing puzzle was bent on keeping Jarvis at arm's length with the usual, R, S, T, L, N, and E being very little help. His own letters of C, M, G and O also not assisting him at all. The “Breezy Day,” answer eluded Jarvis, but he was still able to walk away with $18,549 dollars.

Wheel of Fortune for 4/15/2014

On this episode of Wheel of Fortune we met three contestants that couldn't wait to find their fortune during America's Game-show. The first Toss Up puzzle was an On The Map category, where letters are randomly displayed until the puzzle is solved. Jamey Sprawls was a quick draw on this puzzle solving the Montego Bay, with just two letters on the board! Hailing from Evans, Georgia; she runs a mobile cupcake truck which delivers her sweet treats to customers, and then parks and lets the customers come to her. Lauren Fairfax from Springfield Indiana is a stay-at-home Mom with one little boy. John Downing, from San Diego, is a Lieutenant in the United States Coast Guard.

The next Toss Up puzzle was worth $2000, and was a Thing category. Lauren was the first to score by solving the puzzle, A Round Of Applause. Beaches resorts sponsored a prize package for the wheel worth a nice $6,700 dollars.

The first spin puzzle was a Song/Artist category and Lauren had the first spin, because she won the last Toss Up round. Her first spin landed her the ½ Car game piece, and her first vowel netted her nothing, which passed the game to John. John was on a roll, buying up all the possible vowels for the puzzle, when an M letter guess cost him his turn. Jamey's first and only spin, netted her a possible trip to any Beaches resort, like the beautiful Turks and Cacos Islands. She was also able to solve the puzzle with, Superstition By Stevie Wonder.

John started the next spin puzzle, a Before and After puzzle with the letter T, for $300/piece; of which there were two. John stumbled on the letter E, and passed the game to Jamey. Her first spin proved to be a bust when she landed on the Bankrupt game piece for the million dollar prize piece. Back to Lauren's spin proved profitable when she landed on the mystery game piece. This gave her a fifty-fifty shot of winning $10,000 or hitting a bankrupt. She took the risk and got the $10,000 game piece. Continuing her good fortune, Lauren spun her way to solving the puzzle with Nonstop Flights Of Fancy.

Jamey was doing well, on the next puzzle; a Phrase, with $450 dollars to add to her total when she hit the dreaded Bankrupt piece, forcing her to start over and pass the wheel on to Lauren. Lauren was doing well also, and managed to land on the Express $1000. This game piece allows her to call out letters, both consonants and vowels until she solves the puzzle. If she were to miss a letter, however, it's an automatic Bankrupt. Going on to rack up a stunning $13,800 to add to her already nice total, Lauren solved the puzzle with I Can't Wipe The Smile Off My Face. After spinning her way to well over $28,000 in cash and prizes, Lauren was then awarded a great trip to the Bahamas! A trip worth, $7,199.

The last Toss Up puzzle; a category of The 80's, was worth $3,000 dollars and John was able to solve the puzzle quickly and efficiently with just four letters on the board. The puzzle read: Pretty In Pink-a very popular move about growing up during those all important, teenage years.

The final spin bell came with consonants being worth $1900 a piece. Jamey was finally able to solve the puzzle, Playing Simon Says, with relative ease, and with a nice total of $14,900 dollars. John took home $3,000 and Lauren-who went on to play the bonus round racked up an amazing $35,849 dollars.

The Bonus round puzzle for Lauren was a Living Thing category and the letters R,S,T,L,N and E; plus the ones she chose, C,P,M and O were of great help to Lauren. She went on to solve the puzzle with Newborn Puppy, and score another $50,000 dollars, making her total $85,849 dollars!

Wheel of Fortune for 4/16/2014

During tonight's episode three contestants joined their brains with “Lady Luck” to try and pull out a win on America's Game Show. As usual, they started out the night with the first Toss-Up puzzle, worth $1000, and it was an On The Map category.

Amy Johnson, scored fairly early on with the correct answer of, The Caribbean Sea. Amy is a regional sales manager for an industrial lighting company out of Chicago. Kelley Healthann from Tuscon, Arizona is a married mother of two, who writes a local column in the local Tuscon newspaper. Last, but not least, is Richard Johnson, from Kingstown, Rhode Island; Richard is quite the character. As a licensed lay minister, singer-songwriter, and flower delivery man- he's an “all-in-one act for weddings and funerals.” He also just released his first album, and is looking forward to seeing it's success.

Kelley scored the second Toss Up in the Things category with, Brains And Brawn. After the Toss Up, Jim-the announcer- told the contestants about the Sandals trip that had been added to the wheel. A trip to a Sandals resort of the winner's choice, worth $6700 dollars.

Landing on a Bankrupt of her first wheel spin, Kelley passed the game to Richard. With a Before and After puzzle on the board, Richard gave the wheel a great spin. Richard was doing great, even buying up all the vowels; until the letter L snuck up and took him out. Amy then landed on a Lose a Turn piece to pass the game back to Kelley. After a few spins, and some money on her board; Kelley was able to solve the puzzle with, Chicken Stock Market.

The next spin puzzle, a Showbiz category, was started by Richard, with the big letter T. Losing his turn on the letter E, of which their weren't any; Richard passed the game to Amy, who was anxious to get started. Landing on the “always tricky,” Mystery game piece, Amy decided not to risk it, enjoyed the $3000 she won, and kept the mystery intact. Racking up over $5,000 on the puzzle, Amy was able to solve it with, Pop Music Star Bruno Mars.

The next puzzle, a Phrase, was also a prize puzzle-whoever solves the puzzle wins a prize, which is usually a very nice trip. Amy started spinning, and never stopped on this puzzle. She bought up all the vowels, along with the consonants she needed to solve the puzzle with, This Is Going To Make A Great Story. Along with the $3200 dollars she won on that round, she also won a fabulous trip to the Turks and Caicos Islands.

The third Toss Up round, worth $3000 dollars wen to, Kelley who was a quick draw for the, In The Kitchen, puzzle. Kelley was then able to spin first on the next puzzle, a What Are You Doing, category. She was then promptly duped by a Bankrupt game piece. Richard was off to a great start, until he tried to buy an O. The letter R, knocked Amy out, as there were none. Kelley wasn't even warmed up yet, when she landed on a Lose A Turn piece. Richard then got bumped by the letter S. Amy was finally able to solve the tricky puzzle with, Meeting My Deadline.

The Final Spin bell gave it's ding, and Pat gave the wheel it's final spin. Consonants instantly became worth, $1500 dollars. The Fun and Games puzzle quickly went to Richard with, Touch Football. Going into the bonus round, Amy had already racked up $20,399 dollars, and hoped to add to her total.

Th Bonus round was a Things category, but the R, S, T, L, N, and E; along with the letter Amy chose, C, D, M, and A weren't much help with solving the Hours Of Operation puzzle. She missed out on a nice $30,000 dollars, but seemed okay with her original winnings.

Wheel of Fortune for 4/14/2014

During this episode of Wheel of Fortune, three contestants battled it out to win cash and prizes, trips and big bonuses. The first Toss Up, worth $1000 dollars was an On The Map category. A Toss Up puzzle pushes out random letters until someone is able to solve it. Traci Short-a park ranger-scored first with a quick and correct answer, The Bahamas. James Lee, the only male contestant on tonight's show, hails from West Hollywood, California. He spent time teaching middle school, and now works at a gym, living the “American Dream.” Joanie Chubius is from the Sacramento area, and works as a realtor.

The next Toss Up was worth $2000 and centered on a Thing. James was quick on the draw for this puzzle with Steam Shower, for the correct answer. After the puzzle Jim-the announcer-had a wonderful Sandals getaway to give away as a prize piece on the wheel. This prize package was worth a nice total of $6,700 dollars.

The category for the first spin round was What Are You Doing? James was doing wonderful with $850 on the board, when he hit the dreaded Bankrupt sign, which then passed the game on to Joanie. After grabbing the ½ Car game piece for a Chevy Spark, as well as, a nice amount of cash; Joanie then hit the Bankrupt piece to start all over at square one. Traci racked up about $500 dollars before solving the puzzle with Searching For Buried Treasure. Leading the way into the break Traci was at $2100 dollars.

The second spin puzzle was Same Letter, which Joanie started. Riding high on a trip to Sandals that sat in front of her, Traci risked it all on the Mystery game piece (a piece that could have either a very nice $10,000 under it, or a Bankrupt if chosen-if not it's worth $1000) she lost it all on the nasty Bankrupt sign. Traci was up next and spun herself to solving the puzzle, which read: Detailed Driving Directions.

Back from a break the Event puzzle category came up, and was also the prize puzzle for the night. Traci started off great, but sputtered out after just one letter. James floundered on a Bankrupt and Joanie finally got her chance to join the game. Landing on an Express $1000, she was able to score a nice payout for every consonant she guessed. She racked up $9950 before solving the puzzle which read: An  Extraordinary Experience. While she didn't score the other ½ car piece, she did win a beautiful trip to Jamaica!

The last Toss Up puzzle of the night was a Food and Drink category worth, $3000 dollars. Traci came out on fire, guessing the right answer with barely any letters on the board: Chocolate Chip Scone. The final spin bell came up on the last puzzle, a Phrase; for which Pat gave the wheel a final spin, and consonants were suddenly worth a very nice, $1700 dollars. A real teaser this one, Joanie guessed the vowel A, and was able to solve the puzzle which read: I Thank My Lucky Stars. Running on a high, Joanie went into the bonus round with $22, 249 dollars.

The Person puzzle didn't offer much help from the R,S,T, L, N, and E that the contestant is always given. Choosing C,D, P and A; Joanie was literally one letter away from winning, when she guessed Healthy Woman. The puzzle was actually Wealthy Woman. She missed out on adding an extra $30,000 to her total cash and prizes.

Wheel of Fortune 4/12/2014

In this episode of Wheel of Fortune, we start a fresh Spring Break week. The first Toss Up puzzle-a puzzle that gives random letter choices out, until someone solves the puzzle, was worth $1000, and was an On The Map category.

Grace, one of two female contestants, came out swinging with the correct answer of Palm Springs, California. Grace Park is a graduate student who hopes to be a counselor in the future. We also met Stacey St. John from Ohio, who is an online marketing specialist and a wife and mother. Mike Lee-the only male contestant on tonight's show, works for a non-profit group out of Oregon.

The next Toss Up-a Person category, helped to determine who starts the first spin round. The early bird catches the worm, and Mike was certainly the early bird for this puzzle, scoring the first spin with My New Best Friend. The jackpot round-a round in which a nice jackpot game piece, worth $6000 dollars, is placed on the board-was sponsored by Act mouthwash, and started things rolling.

The first spin round started off with an 80's themed category, and Mike got the first spin. Mike landed on the Wild Card and scored a thousand dollars with an S guess, but failed to continue when he guessed a T, of which there weren't any. This passed the game on to Grace.  Grace got off to a great start by landing on the ½ Car game piece, which is good towards winning a smart car. She also racked up some nice cash before guessing a C, which then passed the puzzle on to Stacey. She quickly left the game back in Mike's hands by asking for an N, of which there were none. Mike promptly landed on the Million Dollar piece and guessed an F, of which there were three. He was then able to solve the movie puzzle with Ferris Bueller's Day Off.

Grace started the next round with a Food and Drink puzzle. Grace was on a roll with her puzzle until she asked the guess the puzzle with the incorrect answer of Bratwursts and Sauerkraut. This gave Stacey a chance to play, and she was able to solve the puzzle with the correct answer of Frankfurters and Sauerkraut.

After some laughs about bratwursts and frankfurters, the next round of play got started with a Same Letter puzzle. Working her way through the alphabet, Stacey was doing well until she guessed an I, which then passed the puzzle to Mike. Mike landed on another ½ Car piece to battle Grace for the Smart-car. Guessing the letter F, Mike found the common denominator to all four words, but on his next spin he unfortunately hit the Bankrupt game piece and lost all of his previous game pieces, including the Million dollar stunner. Grace followed up by also landing on the Bankrupt piece. With the guess of an R, Stacey went on the solve the Fabulous-Fragrant-Fresh-Flowers, puzzle. On top of the $4200 she'd racked up, Stacey also secured a beautiful trip to St. Croix in the Virgin Islands. A prize worth, $7,980 dollars.

After the commercial break, we hit the trail again with a nice $3000 dollar Toss Up. The Thing puzzle didn't take long to solve as Grace buzzed in with Status Symbol. She went on to start the next spin round with a Phrase puzzle, but quickly fizzled when the guess of a T failed to produce any. Stacey came out on fire with this puzzle and spun her way through to a $5000 dollar game piece, which then allowed her to solve the puzzle with Firing On All Cylinders. Racking her total up to $21,430 Stacey went on to play the next puzzle with Grace and Mike.

The final spin came on the last Living Thing puzzle. Addin $1000 to the game piece consonants were then worth a whopping $6000 dollars! Choosing to guess the vowels, Mike took home a nice $3,000. Grace ended the game with $4,000 and Stacey went on to the bonus round with a stunning $27,430. The Things puzzle proved to be a difficult one to solve, even with the partial answer that Stacey came up with. Showing a Displays And Exhibits, answer Stacey missed out on adding $30,000 to her total, but seemed very happy with her ending total.

Wheel of Fortune Episode for 4/10/2014

On this episode of Wheel of Fortune, College Week continued as we met three brand new contestants, who hoped to win big on one of America's favorite game-shows. Starting the show right off with a $1000 dollar Toss Up puzzle-a puzzle in which letters are randomly given until a contestant is able to guess the puzzle-the category was Person. Smoking his opponents, Derrick-one of two male contestants, solved the puzzle “Graduate Assistant,” with only Two T's, One N, One G and One S on the board.

Derrick Chan is a senior at UNLV (the University of Las Vegas) whose studying to be an elementary school teacher. The other male contestant, Enoch Newkirk is attending Cornell and is majoring in Psychology. Courtney, the only female contestant on today's game is attending Lee University, in small town Cleveland, Tennessee (right outside of Chattanooga). She is an English Education major who hopes to teach high school after she graduates this year.

Moving on to the second Toss Up Puzzle of the game, the category was Rhyme Time, and Derrick once again stole the board early on with “Rough and Tough,” to solve the puzzle. Lonely Planet once again sponsored a wonderful trip to Athens, Greece, to put a great prize on the wheel.

The first spin puzzle was a Same Letter category. Derrick started with the first spin, but failed to guess a letter on the board, with T. Enoch then started his turn with a spin that left him with half of a Chevrolet Sonic, and some cash. Buying the vowel E, of which there weren't any, left the field open for Courtney to play. She landed on the dreaded Bankrupt to turn the game over to Derrick once again. Scoring big on the letter C, which was the common letter between the three words; gave Derrick quite a cushion to buy the vowel A, of which there were also three.  Derrick was doing well until he guessed the letter R which wasn't available. Enoch took full advantage of his near miss with the Bankrupt game piece, and solved the puzzle with Clashing, Clanging, Cymbals.

Round 2 started off with a Phrase. Courtney was the first to spin and ran with it. Calling letter after letter, and buying up all the possible vowels, Courtney used her Wild Card-a card that let's her stay on the game piece amount she's currently on, which was $3500 dollars. She guessed the letter H-when she landed on the game piece originally, and the Letter N during her wild card turn. This racked up her total to a very nice $10,500 just in those three slots alone! Feeling the excitement of the puzzle, Courtney took one more spin-for which she gained a ½ Car game piece, and finally-with a high pitched squeal, solved the puzzle. I Promise To Call You When I Land.

The next Toss Up-a Phrase-worth $3000 dollars was a What Are You Doing puzzle. Derrick scored on this round with the correct answer, Hitting The Gym. Hearing the bell for the Final Spin, Pat Sajak got the consonants to a nice $1500 a piece for the contestants to build their winnings. Derrick started the Thing puzzle off with the letter T, and found there were 4 of them. Derrick scored again by solving the puzzle with The Latest Technology, landing him in a very close second place. Enoch walked away with a little cash. Courtney was the big winner-fresh off her last spin round sweep-who stuck around for the bonus round. With not a lot of help from the letters she was given, or those she picked; Courtney wasn't able to solve the final puzzle-Having An Impact. She did, however, walk away with a nice sum of $21,849.

Laura then landed on the Bankrupt game piece to hand it back to Julian who chose to spin again. Going on to pick up the London trip as well as the Million Dollar game piece Julian lost it all when he mispronounced the puzzle-Mythological Hero Achilles. Shelby then got a chance to “solve” the puzzle by pronouncing “Achilles” correctly.

The game shows mystery round-a space on the wheel worth a hidden amount of money-was sponsored by Garlique. The space was worth a whopping $10,000. The next spin puzzle-a Before and After-was started by Shelby. Starting off great, Shelby landed early on a Lose A Turn piece to hand the game over to Laura, who won a Wild Card on her first spin. He also grabbed a $1000 dollars cash on a Style Watch Magazine game piece. He also scored a Free Play, and a ½ Car game piece.  Julian kept up his winning streak by landing on the other ½ Car game piece, but lost it all again when he wasn't able to solve the puzzle. Shelby, however, was able to solve it-The World's Fastest Man. She also won herself a trip to Jamaica-worth $7,280 dollars.

The last Toss Up puzzle-A Proper Name-was worth $3000 and went to Laura again with Edgar Allen Poe. The next category-a Thing-was the last puzzle and Pat Sajak gave the wheel a final spin, making the consonants worth $1500. Julian once again slipped up with a mispronunciation to give Shelby the chance to solve the puzzle-On-The-Spot Decision. Shelby ended up a close second with $9,787 dollars.  Laura ended up in third with $4000. Julian-who struggled to stay alive with his significant forfeits- landed on top with $11,700 to play the bonus round.

Julian got a pre-puzzle pep talk from Pat, about solving the Person-puzzle, but with the letters that were given and the ones he chose weren't enough to get him the answer of Top Draft Pick, for which he lost a chance at $30,000.

Wheel of Fortune Episode for 4/9/2014

On this episode of the Wheel of Fortune we meet more contestants for the College Week competition. The three contestants, two young women and one young man; hailed from Purdue, Arizona and Oklahoma Universities. Starting the show in the usual fashion, the first Toss Up puzzle was a puzzle about 'college life.' One of the young women named Elayna Dorsey-a junior at Purdue, scored the first puzzle with University Bookstore. The other contestants were Steven Palmer-a senior at Arizona University, and Christina Alfonso-a junior at Oklahoma University.

The next Toss Up puzzle, a “What are you doing?” category was for a nice $2000 prize. Elayna also snagged this prize puzzle to put her total at $3000, a good start to the game. After the Toss Up puzzle, the show announcer put a game piece on the board for a lovely trip to Paris, worth $7500 dollars which was sponsored by Lonely Planet-a web based travel destination site.

The first spin puzzle was a Phrase, and Elayna started it off. Scoring huge dollar amounts on the wheel she racked up $9100 dollars before finally landing on the dreaded Lost A Turn. Steven took his turn, only to promptly land on the Bankrupt piece, which gave Christina a chance to spin. She got the ½ car piece to which Elayna also had a ½. Then she went on to spin her way to solving the puzzle which read: Stop Texting Me, I'm Cramming For Finals.

Stephen started the next spin puzzle of The Same Name, hoping to pull some nice dollar amounts. With a strategic plan in place, Steven spun his way to a $1000 dollar gift card for Style Watch-a fashion and style magazine.

Christina's first spin for this puzzle netted her that wonderful trip to Paris France worth a nice $7500 dollars. Spinning her way to a nice ending, Christina was able to solve the puzzle which read: Dorm and Elbow Room, to secure her trip to France and raise her earnings to $14, 250. Starting off the next puzzle a Food and Drink category, Christina spun and hit the Bankrupt piece, which cost her the ½ car game piece.

Taking her chance Elayna started the puzzle on fire by scoring both parts of the ½ car game pieces and a beautiful $3500 game piece to net her $7750 in cash. The only problem is that her next spin landed her on the Bankrupt piece for which she lost it all. This allowed Steven to solve the puzzle to which the answer read: Refreshing Coconut Water. Fresh off the win, he also scored a great trip to Hawaii that was worth $7,333.

Back to a Toss Up puzzle worth $3000, the puzzle was The 80's. Elayna pushed her buzzer but struggled without giving an answer. Steven then buzzed in with an incorrect answer, which gave Christina a chance to score the puzzle with the answer: Revenge Of The Nerds. The next puzzle in the Thing category, Christina and Elayna both struck out early, barely getting the puzzle started. Steven got a chance to make some money before the bell for the final spin was wrung. Consonants instantly became worth $1500 dollars a piece, and each contestant was given 15 seconds to solve the puzzle after their letter choice.

Steven was able to solve the final puzzle, netted a total in cash and prizes of $11,283 to put him in second place. Elayna ended up in third with an even $3000, and Christina took the game with a very nice $17, 250 and went on to play in the bonus round.

Giving the bonus wheel a spin, Christina landed on the letter C. The puzzle was a Things category and Christina was given the help of the usual R-S-T-L-N and E. She gave H, P, D and A as her letter guesses, but was unable to guess the answer to the puzzle, which read: Nouns and Pronouns. She lost her card prize of $35,000. Still to leave with the amount she did isn't a bad day's work.

In this episode of Wheel of Fortune, we met three unique contestants in the Wheel of Fortune College challenge. In the first Toss Up puzzle-a puzzle in which random letters are flipped until an answer is given, Emily-a junior from Northwestern answered first. The Quotation puzzle answer was, “It's All Greek To Me.” Pat Sajak then spent some time getting to know the contestants, and even got a beat-box performance from, Omari Williams, a senior from Baylor University. Marissa Hulley is attending UCLA and is a senior.

The next puzzle, also a Proper Name toss up for $2000 was taken by, Omari, with F. Scott Fitzgerald.  Before the first “spin” was taken by any of the contestants, a lovely trip to Peru worth $7500 dollars, was placed on the wheel, courtesy of Lonely Planet-a web based travel content site.

During the first spin puzzle on College Life, Omari got off to a great start, winning both a “Free Play” pass, as well as, the ½ a car slot. He then solved the puzzle with Grade Point Average. The next spin puzzle, a Before and After one, was started by Marissa. She got off to a good start with the guess of the letter N, but lost out with an S, of which there weren't any. During Emily's turn she got a little tongue-tied trying to remember whether she was spinning and guessing a letter or buying a vowel. But she managed to stumble through and solve the puzzle with, The Merchant of Venice Beach.

After the break the prize puzzle was Event, which Omari started. Landing on Lose a Turn, the game was passed to Marissa, who needed a good spin to get her game going. With the guess of an N, she was able to pick up a $1000 gift card to Dick's Sporting Goods. After a brief go round, Marissa also landed on a Lose A Turn, passing the game to Emily. Emily then landed on a Bankrupt and lost it all. Omari then took over, guessing letter after letter, and nailing all the vowels before finally solving the puzzle with, Embarking On A Voyage. With the solving of the puzzle Omari also won a trip to the Mediterranean, worth $7,199.

After the break, the $3000 Toss Up went to Emily with March Madness. Phrase was the category of the next spin puzzle. Emily started the puzzle well but couldn't hold on, guessing an R when there weren't any. The puzzle then passed to Omari, and he skated by a Bankrupt space, only to later be caught by it to lose just over a thousand dollars, before the bell for the Final Spin.

Pat gave the wheel a final spin, which added a $1000 to make the consonants worth $1300 a piece. Emily was able to solve the puzzle which read, Sitting On A Gold Mine. Omari was the big winner for the day, with Emily a close second. Marissa walked away with a nice $1000 prize.

Omari spun and landed on the & sign. The puzzle was an Event, but with little help from the offered letters, and those he guessed; Omari wasn't able to guess the answer. Public Apology, was hard to come by, and Omari gave up a very nice Ford Escape.

Wheel of Fortune Episode for 4/4/2014

During this episode of Wheel of Fortune the three K's, Keith, Kedra and Krista battled it out to see who'd take home the most money and prizes. Keith got off to a great start by winning the first two puzzles straight out of the gate. On the first puzzle that required the contestants to spin for their letter guesses Keith was again off to a fast start filling in a majority of the board. However he slipped up and gave Kedra a chance to spin. She landed on a bankrupt that left the way for Krista to spin and solve the puzzle. After the break Kedra had her chance to catch up with a Before and After puzzle which she owned by filling it in and solving the puzzle. Some Like It Hot Pastrami Sandwich. On the next puzzle, phrase, Krista started it off by spinning and landing on the Million dollar slot but bombed on her next spin. Keith didn't get anywhere either which left Kedra to spin and she did great for a while, but failed to guess an accurate letter. Krista cleaned up by solving the puzzle, You Have To See It To Believe It; during which she won a fabulous trip to Saint Lucia. During the next toss up round, in which letters appear on a puzzle until one of the contestants solve the puzzle, Kedra scored quickly to win a nice $3,000 dollars. This allowed Kedra to spin first on the “What Are You Doing” puzzle. She was doing fantastic until an untimely 'Lose a Turn' popped up on the wheel, making way for Krista to take her turn. She quickly solved the puzzle, Asking For Directions and continued her climb to the top. The next puzzle category was Event, in which Krista started off the spinning. Like all great game shows there's always the 'luck of the draw' factor. Krista hit it big time by landing on a “bankrupt” piece straight-a-way. She lost the million dollar game piece, but luckily nothing more. Keith was doing well during his turn, but with the dinging of the bell came the final spin. Consonants became $1700 dollar cash cows and on the game went. Keith won this puzzle, Birthday Bash, and secured a nice jackpot for himself. Krista stole the show though with an impressive win on $17, 850 dollars. This gave her the chance to spin for a huge prize on the final puzzle of the show. A “Thing” she had an eight letter puzzle that stumped her until the very end and she wasn't able to secure a very nice $45,000 cash prize. However, she seemed very happy to have won her earlier cash prize and was no less worse for wear.
